That’s why we’re often hesitant to reveal our kitchen renovation budget for fear that the consultant will make sure we spend every penny. However, the amount you specify to your kitchen designer will help determine what materials, appliances and other elements you’d like to include in your new kitchen. For example, if your budget won’t allow you the luxury of wood cabinets and granite countertops, your consultant can propose some good alternatives you may not even have considered.
The worst mistake you could make would be not to impose budget restrictions and have your kitchen designer end up proposing a plan that’s well beyond your means.
